The AI News Hack: How I Stay Updated Without Doom-Scrolling

Staying informed is part of the job - but staying online 24/7 is not (I’m guilty of this 🫣).
Here’s the AI hack that keeps me updated without draining my time:
I ask AI:
“Give me a quick summary of the news that affects [insert your profession, business, etc.] today.”
No doom-scrolling.
No stress.
No emotionally-charged headlines.
I sometimes add:
• “Make it concise.”
• “Exclude sensationalism.”
• “Tell me only what impacts my [customers, residents, etc].”
AI pulls out:
• legislative updates
• technology trends
• misinformation spikes
• emerging issues for your specific profession/business.
It turns hours of scrolling into a 90-second briefing.
